BubbleGum and Wenge  : ARIA
This bun holder is made from BubbleGum , Wenge and Italian Veneers. This is a Barrette Baron original design concept and I am very proud to offer this Bun Holder as part of my wares.

Bubble Gum Bubble Gum is a Tri-colour ensemble: It is made up of Tropical Passion Wood, Fuchsia and Indigo Royal-Wood. Wenge forms the upper and lower horizons and I have also added some Veneer pinstripes for distinction.

Galápagos Tortise  : ARIA
Here is another unique and original design from BarretteBaron Studios: Galápagos Tortise. BarretteBaron’s ARIA technique brings out the unique tortoise shell’s undulating pattern, while providing continuity of form and balance. As a youth, my fascination with the Galápagos Islands was enormous and consumed many hours of my time in reading and TV documentaries. This fascination has continually grown and I am very proud to offer a reflection of my inspirational tone in the medium wood.

This particular BUN HOLDER is made from Cocobolo, MAGNUM DYMONDWOOD and Italian Veneers. MAGNUM is made up of Rosewood Burgundy, Bermuda Lemonwood, Charcoal Silver-tone, Cocobolo Macassar and Heritage Walnut. Here is another picture: CLICK HERE and another, CLICK HERE

This bun holder is made from Apple Jack , Wenge and Italian Veneers. This is a Barrette Baron original design concept and I am very proud to offer this Bun Holder as part of my wares.

Apple Jack is a layered wood composite material made from coloured Veneers that have been compressed together under extreme pressure. A special Resin is used to hold the layers together. This material is very strong and durable and resistant to heat and moisture. Apple Jack It is made up of Bahama Cherry Wood and Charcoal Silver-tone. Wenge forms the upper and lower horizons and I have also included four Veneer pinstripes for fun.

This bun holder is made from HAZELNUT, Amboyna Burl and Italian Veneers.

HAZELNUT is a layered wood composite material made from coloured Veneers that have been compressed together under extreme pressure. A special Resin is used to hold the layers together. This material is very strong and durable and resistant to heat and moisture. HAZELNUT is made up of Cocobolo Macassar, Heritage Walnut, Rosewood Burgundy, American Oak and Colonial Chestnut.

The Amboyna Burl upper and lower horizons has gorgeous figure.. and the combination is warm and inviting… The picture says it all.....

Thuya Burl and Olive Wood
This bun holder is made from Thuya Burl, Olive Wood and Italian Veneers.

Thuya Burl is a part of the Cedar family, originates from Morocco and grows under ground. This particular piece is exceptionally gorgeous and displays exquisite tight eyes. I hand selected this piece of wood from my favorite wood working “candy” store. Olive is an oily wood species. This particular piece came from the Mediterranean and has been drying in my studio since 1997. Olive wood boasts a mixture of cream and caramels and simply compliments the chocolate swirls of the Thuya Burl center.
